This arrangement started life as an original tune. While I was toying with the groove I happened to quote "Tangerine" in the melody and things clicked from there. So much for an original tune! Paul Peterson's tenor testifies as to why Tangerine was so popular and Bart Bakker's bass solo is a treat to behold.
